There are many different approaches to good health, and what works for one person may not work for another. Some people may pursue good health through regular exercise while others may feel their best when following a specific diet. It is important to remember that there is no single approach to good health, although, multiple studies have demonstrated that a well-rounded program that incorporates nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness is likely to bring about the best overall results. In addition to the actions that can be taken to improve health and well-being, as a physician, I also recommend regular health maintenance with check-ups and a customized plan for prevention.
